My name is Becca. This is my first attempt at running a (hopefully successful) website. I am Gen X, have a double major in History and Art, work full-time in Graduate Medical Education, and love helping rescue animals. My wonderful husband is Joe, who I love more than anything.
Joe, my husband, has a degree in business administrations, is Gen X like me, loves dystopian fiction, classic Batman cartoons, and has ALS. Before ALS, Joe was an avid runner participating in many 5K’s, 10K’s and half marathons.
We are a blended family with three AMAZING children (21, 18 and 16), and two rescue cats and two rescue dogs. Just call us the modem mini-Brady Bunch. 🙂
Our kids are amazing individuals with their own individual interests that they excel at. We could not be more proud of all three of them!
Joe and I are currently working hard at keeping his ALS in check–trying to keep it from progressing any more quickly than it already has, while trying to keep our kids lives as normal as possible, in addition to maintaining a life beyond ALS for us and enjoying everything in life that we can together.
